Trials won’t take place next week in two separate high-profile cases working through Lyon County District Court, but both cases could go to trial later this month.
In one case, Harvey Kent Grandstaff is accused of two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and one for aggravated indecent liberties for incidents allegedly last year and dating back to 2010. A status hearing will now take place March 22, with trial possibly starting March 27.
In the other case, Austin Levi Buckridge now has a status hearing March 15, with trial possibly starting either March 20 or March 27. Buckridge is accused of distributing up to 100 grams of cocaine and up to 450 grams of marijuana as part of an alleged incident this past July.
