Tickets go on sale this weekend for the 18th Symphony in the Flint Hills.
Tickets can be purchased online at symphonyintheflinthills.org beginning at 10 am Saturday. Tickets are $95 plus taxes and fees for adults. They are $50 plus taxes and fees for children ages 12 and under. Patron packages and sponsorships are also available.
The event is June 10 at the Wade Pasture near Eskridge. Besides a concert by the Kansas City Symphony, there will be talks, presentations, covered wagon rides, guided prairie walks, roping activities, dancing and stargazing as part of the overall experience.
This year’s theme is “Transportation in the Flint Hills.”
