Emporia State baseball team run-ruled Fort Hays State 13-0 in the first game of 3 game weekend series Friday.
The Hornets scored 7 runs in the 3rd inning. They would end the game with 5 runs in the 6th inning.
Noah Geekie was 2 for 4 with 5 RBI. He hit a 3-run home run in the 6th inning and drove in 2 runs with a double in the 3rd inning.
Kadyn Williams was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI. Ian Lanik was the winning pitcher tossing a 3-hit shutout.
