24/7 help is now available via call…or text.
With the release of the SOS mobile app to the public, people may contact SOS services via live chat as opposed to calling. Adele Clark, SOS shelter manager, describes some of the various new ways that this is possible.
Meanwhile, the SOS Heroes for Hope fundraising campaign continues, and a special fundraising concert is planned this weekend.
Jeanna Scheve, a Heroes for Hope participant, and Brickhorse members Lora McDonald and Bary Williams will perform from 2-4 pm Sunday at Mulready’s. Scheve says it’s great music for a great cause.
Suggested donation is $20, with all proceeds going to the Heroes for Hope campaign and offsetting an ongoing decrease in grant funds to SOS. For more information about Heroes for Hope, call 620-343-8799, email info@SOSKansas.com, or go online to soskansas.com/heroesforhope.
