Kansas scored the first two points of the game and that would be their only lead of the day as Texas defeated the Jayhawks 72-59 Saturday.
Texas led by as many as 17 points in the second half. Kansas struggled offensively shooting 36 percent from the floor.
Jalen Wilson led Kansas with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
The Jayhawks will be the number 1 seed in the Big 12 tournament and will play Thursday at 2 pm against the winner of Wednesdays game between West Virginia and Texas Tech.
