Construction and infrastructure items are among the topics to come before the USD 253 Emporia Board of Education on Tuesday.
Board members will get the standard Building for the Future construction update from McCownGordon before discussing a partial roof replacement at Emporia High and a memorandum of understanding between the district and city of Emporia to upgrade 14 crossing lights at an estimated cost of $160,000.
Student matters will also be discussed, with the latest academic achievement report from FastBridge, a school improvement update at Emporia High and a program highlight at Riverside Elementary all on the agenda.
Three executive sessions are on the schedule, one for the ongoing evaluation effort for Superintendent Allison Anderson-Harder, one for negotiations and one for attorney consultation.
The meeting begins at 6 pm at Mary Herbert Education Center.
