The CareArc Board of Directors is getting a jumpstart on funding for the 2024 fiscal year.
During a special meeting Monday, board members approved the submission of three grant applications to the state of Kansas. According to CareArc Executive Director Renee Hively, the first submission approved was the annual CareArc application which encompasses multiple grants.
The board also approved submitting the annual State Formula and Regional Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grants. Hively says each application is for the 2024 fiscal year and the health center is requesting level funding from the year before totaling just under $800,000.
Word on the status of each application is expected by mid-June.
