The Emporia State Football team begins spring practices Wednesday.
The Hornets are coming off a season that saw them finish with a 9-3 record and a Live United Bowl game victory.
Coach Garin Higgins says they will take a good look at the younger players.
Coach Higgins says they have pinpointed several areas for improvement.
Spring Practices will run thru April 15th when the Spring game is scheduled to be played.
