The Lebo girls advanced to the 1A Division II semi-finals with a 56-12 win over a shorthanded Pawnee Heights Wednesday.
Pawnee Heights began the game with only 5 players after their best player Olivia Hands, who was averaging 19 points and 9 rebounds, broke her foot last Saturday. And in the 1st half, they lost their point guard and played the rest of the game with 4 players.
Lebo Girls Coach Patrick Gardner was pleased with the way his team handled the challenge.
Saige Hadley led Lebo with 17 points, Brooklyn Jones finished with 13 and Abby Peak scored 12.
The Lebo girls will play Bucklin in Friday’s semi-finals at 6 pm.
