The Olpe boys basketball team is returning to the Class 1A-Division I State Tournament in Dodge City.
The two-time defending state champions in 1A-DI begin its quest for a third straight title Thursday afternoon when they take on Centralia.
Olpe is the top-seed with a 20-2 record while Centralia is the No. 8 seed with a 15-8 record.
Olpe coach Chris Schmidt says there are three things the Eagles have to do if it wants to have a chance to advance to the final four in 1A-Division I.
Game time is at 2 p.m. at United Wireless Arena in Dodge City. You can listen to the game on Country 101.7 FM with coverage beginning at 1:40 p.m.
