There has been a delay in an extradition hearing for an Emporia man accused of criminal activity in Colorado.
A hearing originally set for Wednesday in Lyon County District Court was pushed to April 17 in the case of Adam Lacer-D’Angelo. This will give the state time to issue what’s called a Governor’s Warrant, which follows a process after defendants refuse to waive extradition procedures and includes a review by the Kansas Attorney General’s Office before the warrant application is approved.
Lacer-D’Angelo is wanted in Colorado for allegedly assaulting a peace officer in Denver County two years ago.
