The Lebo boys advanced to the 1A Division II semifinals with a 67-45 win over Beloit-St. Johns-Tipton 67-45 Thursday.
Lebo Coach Dennis Becker said the defense was the reason they won.
Grayson Shoemaker scored a game-high 30 points to lead Lebo. Landon Grimmett finished with 18 points.
Lebo plays Axtell in the semi-finals Friday with tipoff at 8 pm. The game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.
It will follow the Lebo girls playing Bucklin. Tipoff for that game is set for 6 pm.
