The Emporia State softball team opens MIAA play Friday afternoon. They will be hosting Central Oklahoma in a doubleheader.
Junior outfielder Emma Furnish says she is looking forward to beginning MIAA play.
The first pitch is set for 2 pm at the Trusler Sports Complex.
