The Emporia State baseball team was outscored by Central Missouri 10-4 in the first game of a 3-game series Friday.
Central Missouri scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and never trailed.
Emporia State Coach Seth Wheeler said you cannot give a good team any opportunities.
Game two of the series is scheduled for Saturday afternoon with the first pitch at 2:00 pm at the Trusler Sports Complex.
