Purchases and infrastructure matters will once again highlight the Lyon County Commission’s weekly action meeting Thursday morning.
Commissioners will consider a request from Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods for the approval of a $23,900 quote from Foley Rental for a used excavator-mounted hammer. Commissioners will also consider approving an application for an open-cut permit for Skillman Construction for installing a sewer connection between Prairie Street for the Highway Department’s new bridge shop project.
Woods will also seek direction to apply for the KDPT program to fund two upcoming projects. Commissioners may also approve the renewal of a medical contract for the Lyon County Jail.
Three executive sessions, one for employee evaluation, one for non-elected personnel and one for legal matters, are also on the agenda.
The meeting will begin at 9 am inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
