The Emporia State tennis team opened MIAA/GAC play Saturday with a 6-1 win over Augustana.
The Hornets won at 2 and 3 doubles to earn the doubles point.
They would also win at 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles.
Theo Belmonte and Harrison Brown won at number 2 doubles 6-2. Gwendal Mazuay and Jaden Tredway won 6-2 at #3 doubles to earn the doubles point for Emporia State.
Jordi Bou Sastre won at #2 singles 6-3,6-0.
Theo Belmonte won at #3 singles 6-4, 6-0.
Harrison Brown would clinch the win for Emporia State with a 6-0, 3-6, 6-1 victory at #4 singles.
Jaden Tredway won at #5 singles 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3)
Gwendal Mazuay won at #6 singles 6-2, 6-3.
The Emporia State men are now 5 and 5 in duels and 1-0 in conference play.
