Kansas State will play Kentucky Sunday in the 2nd round with tipoff at 1:40 pm.
Kentucky outscored Providence 61-53.
1 big upset Fairleigh Dickinson became the 2nd 16 seed to defeat a number 1 seed outscoring Purdue 63-58.
