The Kansas City Chiefs made an addition to their secondary on Monday with the signing of veteran safety Mike Edwards.
Edwards spent the last 4 seasons with Tampa Bay.
Edwards concluded his four-year career in Tampa Bay with 181 total tackles, 21 passes defended, seven interceptions, and two sacks. Three of the interceptions were pick 6’s. The 3 pick 6’s since 2020 are the most of any player in the NFL.
Edwards will help fill the void of Juan Thornhill’s signing with Cleveland.
