The Kiwanis Club of Emporia is ready to feed the masses this weekend.
The club will be hosting its 75th annual Pancake Day Feed Saturday at the Lyon County Fairgrounds Anderson Building. Club President Shari Scribner was excited to announce that for the first time in three years, the event will include a dine-in option.
Carry-out orders will still be available, however, residents will have to order their meals at the door. The cost of tickets is $7 in advance or $9 at the door.
In addition to being the 75th annual pancake feed, 2023 also signifies 100 years of existence for the Emporia Kiwanis Club and this weekend’s event will include a special raffle to benefit an upcoming centennial project according to Scribner.
The Kiwanis Club of Emporia was founded in September 1923. Proceeds from the pancake feed will go to support club initiatives throughout the year.
The pancake feed will run from 7 am to 1 pm. For more information find the Kiwanis Club of Emporia on Facebook.
