Once again, little to no movement was shown in the latest US Drought Monitor update.
Half of the KVOE listening area, a line from just south of Council Grove to Emporia to Lebo, remains out of drought altogether with abnormally dry conditions reported from a Teterville to Burlington line. Greenwood County now ranges from abnormal to exceptionally dry.
Chances of rainfall continue through the remainder of the week into the upcoming weekend with mostly dry conditions forecasted for much of the upcoming work week.
