Tribute bands Hip2BHuey and Mystify are set for 7 p.m. this weekend to play a variety of tunes to transport the audience back to the 80s and 90s when Huey Lewis and the News and INXS were top of the charts.
Aaron Riffel, bassist for Hip2BHuey and Mystify, says that the band’s goal was about keeping their memory alive.
Riffel also mentions that being in a tribute band is a dedication to those before rather than claiming to sound the same. However, there is a lot of care put in to help immerse the audience.
