The Emporia High girls soccer team fell 5-1 against Maize in its opener of the Titan Classic Monday.
Emeil Bennett scored Emporia High’s lone goal.
Emporia High is now 1-2 on the season. The Lady Spartans will play Derby in a consolation semifinal at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
