21 area basketball players received all-state honors from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association Tuesday.
Emporia High’s Rebecca Snyder is a first-team selection while Addie Kirmer is an honorable mention pick in Class 5A.
In Class 3A, on the girls side, Harlee Young of Burlington is an honorable mention. On the boys side, Osage City’s Landon Boss is a first-team selection.
In Class 2A, on the girls side, Chase County’s Madelyn Wilson is an honorable mention. On the boys side, Lyndon’s Jackson Biggs is a second-team selection.
In Class 1A-DI, on the girls side, Burlingame’s Kaylin Noonan is a second-team pick. Olpe’s Kadey Robert and Madison’s Jalynn Weakley are honorable mention picks. On the boys side, Olpe’s Truman Bailey is a first-team selection while Blake Redeker is an honorable mention pick. Madison’s Bryson Turner is also an honorable mention pick.
In Class 1A-DII, Lebo’s Brooklyn Jones and Audrey Peek are first-team selections. Lebo’s Saige Hadley and Southern Coffey County’s Josie Weers are second-team selections. On the boys side, Lebo’s Landon Grimmett is a first-team selection. Hartford’s Ali Smith is a second-team selection. Lebo’s Grayson Shoemaker and Zach Oswald along with Waverly’s Ben Meehan are honorable mention picks.
