A familiar face is taking over the Madison football program.
Current assistant coach Nathan Teichgraeber has been named the next football coach.
Teichgraeber has seven years of head coaching experience. He spent four seasons at Council Grove and three at West Franklin.
With being an assistant coach this past fall, Teichgraeber got to learn about the players in the program. When the head coaching position opened up, Teichgraeber jumped on it.
Teichgraeber replaces Alex McMillan who spent seven seasons at Madison. McMillan was named the new football coach at Plainville last month.
