The latest vehicle tag renewal deadline is fast approaching.
Friday is the last day for Lyon County residents with last names beginning with the letter “B” to take care of business without penalty. Current proof of insurance and a valid Kansas ID are needed to complete the process.
As has been the case for months, the Lyon County Treasurer’s Office is encouraging residents to use the QLess app for reserving their places in line, either by downloading the QLess mobile app, texting Lyon County Motor Vehicle to 620-254-9998 or by visiting the Quick Links section under lyoncounty.org.
Motor Vehicle Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.
