The number of new COVID-19 cases remains low in Lyon County.
Unfortunately, two more residents died as a result of the virus, according to Lyon County Public Health.
Only five new cases were reported Wednesday, below the 11 reported March 22 and on par with the four reported March 15. However, two deaths were added, moving that total to 137.
Since Lyon County’s first COVID case as reported March 22, the county has reported over 12,300 total cases, or a little more than a third of the county’s total population.
