A week after beginning a public visioning process for Emporia’s future, the Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas has announced details of an online public survey to gather more information.
The survey is available at rpa2023.com/emporia and could take 5-10 minutes to complete. The survey asks for opinions on the condition of public infrastructure; opportunities for job seekers, housing, recreation and cultural experiences; favorite activities; economic development challenges and more.
Responses will remain anonymous, according to the RDA and its visioning partner Atlas Community Services.
The goal of the survey and the public visioning meetings from last week is to help city leaders identify community priorities and — eventually — “implement catalytic projects to improve quality of life.”
