Emporia State Track and Field Athlete Alyssa Conway competed in the Friends Spring Invitational Thursday and came away with a first-place finish in the hammer throw. She improved her provisional mark with a throw of 184 feet.
She leads the MIAA and is currently ranked sixth in the nation in the hammer.
