Emporia State scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to tie the game. A bases-loaded walk, a sacrifice fly, and a single would drive in the 4 runs.
Both teams scored 2 runs in the first inning. Rogers State would break the tie with 2 runs in the 2nd inning and single runs in the 3rd and 5th innings.
