The Emporia High track and field teams competed in the ESU High School Relays Friday at Welch Stadium.
The Spartans finished ninth, while the Lady Spartans finished 14th.
On the boys side, Fred Jackson had the top finish taking second in the 400m. Cooper Rech was fourth and Blake Spellman took fifth.
The sprint medley relay team of Ontario Robinson, Cooper Rech, Daghyn True and Tyler Luthi finished fourth.
Enrique Rios took fifth in the discus.
The 4x400m relay team of Blake Spellman, Cooper Rech, Kyle Obermeyer and Fred Jackson finished sixth.
Daghyn True finished seventh in the 1,600m.
Kyle Obermeyer had two top-7 finishes in the hurdles. He finished fifth in the 110 and seventh in the 300.
The 4x800m relay team of Keegan Orton, Hayden Basler, Tyler Luthi and Keith Dix finished ninth.
Parker Leeds finished ninth in the triple jump.
RJ Tabares finished 10th in the 110m hurdles.
On the girls side, Micah Sheffy-Harris had the top finish for the Lady Spartans. She finished third in the 2,000m steeplechase.
Sofia Ruvalcaba was fourth in the 2,000m steeplechase while Maryn True finished seventh.
The 4x400m relay team of Lauren Williams Harley Smith, Lexsey Dewitt and Elizabeth Willhite finished fourth.
The 4x800m relay team of Bailee VanSickle, Maryn True, Leanna Lewis, and Sofia Ruvalcaba finished seventh.
Alexa Shivley finished eighth in the triple jump.
Harley Smith was 10th in the 400m.
