The Emporia High boys tennis team finished seventh in its home tournament Saturday.
Mats Goerres finished 11th in singles play. He says he learned quite a bit from his first three tournaments.
The doubles team of Jacob Simons and Carlos Bautista finished 15th.
Up next for Emporia High is the Salina Central Invitational on April 11.
