An ATV crash in the Hartford city limits led to potentially serious injuries for the driver Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened at State and Plumb at 3 pm. The driver, 59-year-old Ronald Scoggin of Hartford, was eastbound on Plumb when a bearing went out. The ATV went into a ditch and hit a culvert.
Scoggin was not wearing a safety restraint at the time of the crash. He was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment.
