Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness Center will bring a night of comedy to fundraise to support their services this upcoming May.
Members of the community will be able to have a night full of laughs by the hand of local, state and national comedians while also opening a space to talk about the importance of supporting mental health services.
Crosswinds Development Support Specialist of Marketing and Outreach Stephanie Anderson says the money of this fundraiser is important as it will fill the gap grants sometimes do not cover.
Celebrate Crosswinds will take place May 5 at 6 p.m. inside of the Granada Theatre and will be headlined by actor and comedian Kevin Farley. Anderson says comedy helps to make the audience more open about mental health and is the reason Crosswinds choose to implement it this year.
Tickets are $75 for the downstair seats which will include dinner and a drink and the door will open at 5:30 p.m. The balcony tickets are $20 and the doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the stand-up comedy show will start at 8 p.m.
