The Emporia State softball team swept a doubleheader from Willliam Jewell Tuesday.
The Lady Hornets won the first game 15-0. They scored 10 runs in the 4th inning.
Shortstop Abby Ward was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored.
Designated player Sophia Rockhold was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI.
Haley Garnett was 1 for 3 with 4 RBI.
Gracie Rabe was the winning pitcher, tossing a 1 hit shutout.
Emporia State won the 2nd game 9-1 in 6 innings.
The Lady Hornets scored 6 of the runs in the 4th inning.

The Emporia State softball team is now 21-15. They will host Nebraska Kearney Friday.
