The Collegiate National Disc Golf Championships will be played beginning today in Marion, North Carolina.
The Emporia State men’s D1 team goes into the tournament ranked #2 in the Nation.
The Emporia State women are ranked 15th.
The Emporia State D2 team also qualified for the national tournament.
Coach Eric McCabe says they need to play with confidence.
Emporia State has four golfers ranked. For the men, Alexis Chaparro is ranked 20th in the nation.
Justin Farrell goes in ranked 56th. Grant Yoder and Cade Kohlmeier are also members of the D1 team.
For the women, Shelby Ebert goes into the tournament ranked 19th and Rebekah Thompson is ranked 40th.
Quentin Riggs, Ross Ehrsam, Tyson Potts, and Zach Dyer make up Emporia State’s D2 team.
