The Kansas City Royals dropped their final game of a four-game series with Toronto Thursday afternoon 6-3.
Toronto led 6-0 early after scoring two in the first inning, one each in the fourth, fifth and seventh.
The Royals scored all three of their runs in the eighth inning. Bobby Witt Jr had a solo home run. Vinnie Pasquantino had an RBI single and Edward Olivares had an RBI double.
Toronto took the series 3-1.
Kansas City is now 1-6 on the season. The Royals begin a 3-game series in San Francisco on Friday. Brad Keller will start for the Royals with first pitch scheduled for 3:35 p.m.
