The Emporia State softball team hosts Nebraska Kearney Friday afternoon.
The Lady Hornets go into the weekend sitting in 11th place in the MIAA Standings.
They are 1 game back of Kearney.
They do have time to climb the ladder with 16 conference games left to play.
Senior Roni Rains says they need to play with confidence.
