One person accused of attempted voluntary manslaughter with a hearing next month in Lyon County District Court has a hearing next week in a lower-level case.
Eloisa Alvino is accused of methamphetamine and paraphernalia possession, as well as traffic offenses, as part of an alleged incident March 26. The next hearing in this case is at 12:45 pm Tuesday.
Alvino was already accused of attempted voluntary manslaughter as part of an alleged incident in early March. Alvino is accused of trying to strangle Josaphat Zeferino Cruz-Perez during an altercation March 2. That count has an alternate of aggravated domestic battery, and Alvino is also accused of aggravated witness intimidation and criminal threat.
The attempted manslaughter case has a preliminary hearing May 3 in Lyon County District Court.
Cruz-Perez, meanwhile, is charged with violating a protection order during an alleged incident late last month. His next hearing is a pretrial July 24.
