Emporia State track and field athletes earned 7 first-place finishes at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Invitational Saturday.
Alyssa Conway won the hammer throw.
Abigael Reid won the 400-meter hurdles.
Hannah Showalter won the 5000-meter run.
The women’s 4 by 400 relay team of Lauren Carlson, Abigael Reid, Hollie Marlow, and Jasmine Hurla finished in 1st place.
The men’s 4 by 400 relay team of Guy Ramos, Julian Johnson, Brock Merz, and Jack Watson also finished in 1st place.
Davian Scott won the 400 hurdles and Asher Moen won the 5000-meter run.
