The Emporia High softball team was swept by Ottawa Thursday.
Ottawa took the first game 10-0 in five innings and the second game, 12-2 in five innings.
In game one, Ottawa took a 2-0 in the first and never looked back.
Emporia High recorded five hits in the opener. Shaylee Ginter was 2-for-3 at the plate.
In game two, Ottawa scored six in the first and never looked back. Emporia High scored a run each in the second and fourth innings.
Addie Kirmer went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Emporia High is now 1-7 on the season. They’ll travel to McPherson for a quad on Tuesday.
