The Emporia State softball team swept a doubleheader from Rockhurst yesterday extending their winning streak to 8 in a row.
The Lady Hornets won the 1st game 4-2 and won the 2nd game 6-1.
Emporia State Coach April Rosales said they were two good team wins.
First baseman Haley Garnett was 3 for 5 with 3 runs scored and an RBI for the doubleheader.
The Emporia State softball team improves to 27-15. They are scheduled to play at Pittsburg State Friday and Missouri Southern Saturday.
