The Emporia High baseball team was swept by Topeka High Friday afternoon.
Topeka High won the first game 3-0 and 2-0 in game two. Game two was called after the fifth inning due to weather.
In game one, Topeka High scored two in the third inning and added one in the fourth.
In game two, Topeka High scored the only runs of the game in the first.
Emporia High outhit Topeka High 6-5 in the first game. Chase Harrington and Jalyn King each went 2-for-3 at the plate.
In game two, Emporia High outhit Topeka High 4-2.
Emporia High is now 0-10 on the season, 0-8 in Centennial League. They’ll go to McPherson for a quad on Tuesday.
