The rain did not stop members of the community to attend the Emporia Farmers Indoor Market at Waters Hardware Saturday morning.
Vendors offered a variety of vegetables, baked goods, crafts, books and more in the last indoor market of this winter season.
Emporia Farmers Market Manager Trisha Fullerton says there are differences between their indoor and outdoor markets, but still, the indoor market offers a variety of products that the community can choose from.
Emporia Farmers Market Assistant and Vendor Andrea Avila says the farmers market is very important for the community as it brings it together and offers them fresh food and other products.
The Emporia Farmers Market will come back on May 6 with their outdoor market located in the parking lot at 7th and Merchant Street. For this outdoor season, the opening time will be 8 a.m.
