The Atlanta Braves outscored the Kansas City Royals 5-4 Sunday to complete the 3-game sweep of the Royals.
The Braves scored 3 runs in the 3rd inning and never did give up the lead.
The Royals did tie the game at 4 with 2 runs in the 7th inning on a Vinnie Pasquintino 2-run home run.
The Braves broke the tie with a run in the top of the 9th.
The Royals fall to 4-12 for the season.
Manager Matt Quatraro says they have not given up.
The Royals begin a 3 game series with the Texas Rangers Monday night.
