Washburn Walked off with a 7-6 win over the Emporia State baseball team Sunday.
A 1 out 2 run home run in the bottom of the 9th lifted Washburn to the win.
The Hornets had taken a 6-5 lead on Chandler Bloomers 2 run home run in the top of the 9th.
Patryk Hernandez hit a 3-run home run in the 1st inning to give Emporia State an early 3-0 lead.
Washburn scored 2 runs in the 7th to take a 5-4 lead.
The Hornets are now 16-26 for the season and 10-17 in the MIAA.
They are scheduled to host Oklahoma Baptist Tuesday.
