In a game that featured 16 home runs Oklahoma Baptist outscored the Emporia State baseball team 23-17 Tuesday.
Emporia Sate Coach Seth Wheeler said there was not a lot to say after the game.
Oklahoma Baptist hit 9 home runs. Emporia State hit 7 home runs. Mason Sturdy hit 3 home runs for the Hornets and Palmer Hutchinson hit 2 runs.
Emporia State scored 5 runs in the 1st inning to take a 5-2 lead. Oklahoma Baptist answered with 8 runs in the second inning and the Hornets were trying to catch up the rest of the game.
Tbe Emporia State baseball team falls to 16-27. They will host Missouri Western in a 3 game series beginning Friday.
