It will be a busy Tuesday at the Trusler Sports Complex. Both the Emporia State softball and baseball teams are scheduled to play.
The Softball team hosts Newman in a doubleheader. The Lady Hornets are in a 3-way tie for 6th place in the MIAA standings. They have won 10 of their last 12 games. Junior 1st baseman Haley Garnett says they are playing with confidence.
The first pitch for game 1 is set for 3 pm.
The Emporia State baseball team hosts Oklahoma Baptist in a non-conference game. This is the 3rd meeting this season with Oklahoma Baptist. The Hornets won the first game 17-9 in the season opener. Oklahoma Baptist won the 2nd game 16-13 on February 28th.
The first pitch is set for 4 pm.
