Overnight lows around freezing Saturday and below freezing early Sunday have prompted the National Weather Service to issue freeze alerts for both weekend days. Morris and Wabaunsee counties are in a freeze warning from 12-9 am Saturday, while all area counties are in a freeze watch from 12-9 am Sunday.
Frost and freeze conditions could damage or kill plants, especially unprotected ones.
