The Emporia State softball team was swept by Rogers State Friday.
Rogers State won the first game 5-3 in 8 innings.
The Lady Hornets broke a 1-1 tie by scoring 2 runs in the top of the 8th on an Emma Furnish single.
Rogers State would answer with 2 two-run home runs in the bottom of the 8th.
Rogers State won the 2nd game 5-2. Alexis Dial hit a 2 run home run in the 7th inning for the lone Emporia State runs.
The Emporia State softball team is now 31-19 and 11-11 in the MIAA. They are in 7th place in the MIAA Standings.
They play a doubleheader at Northeastern State Saturday.
Northeastern split a doubleheader with Washburn Friday.
