Kansas’ jobless rates remained flat from February to March, according to Labor Secretary Amber Schulz.
Flat was also the trend in Emporia, which had a jobless rate steady at 3.1 percent. Lyon County’s jobless rate ticked down from 3.1 to an even 3 percent.
Areawide, the trend was flat to lower between February and March. Chase County has the area low at 2.3 percent. Coffey County has the area high at 4.1 percent. Osage County had the most notable movement, down half a percentage point to 3.1 percent.
